I’m so glad you’re here.

For years, I worked in the “fitness world” as a specialized personal trainer and group fitness instructor—teaching yoga, cycling, functional strength… all of it. I loved what I did because I loved being part of people’s health journeys.

But something never felt quite right.

I didn’t resonate with what I had been taught to believe about health—or about my body.

No pain, no gain.
More is better.
Rest means regression.

The truth is, I was fit—but I wasn’t healthy.
I was constantly at war with myself.

Food, sleep, exercise, body image—it all became impacted.
I was disciplined, but I was disconnected.

Something needed to change.

That realization led me to nervous system science, somatic work, and therapeutic embodiment practices. Through this, I was finally able to put language to what I had felt for years:

Our bodies are trustworthy.
We’ve just never been taught how to listen.

This understanding became the foundation of Serenity Wellness.

Over the past decade, I’ve woven together professional expertise and lived experience to address the gaps I saw in the wellness world. My work bridges science and embodiment, strength and intuition, creating a shared language between them.

It is my greatest honor to hold a safe space for you to explore your body’s strength—to move, feel, and return to yourself.

Colleen Bartlett is an excellent personal trainer in every way. She is highly knowledgeable in strength training, yoga, and Pilates.

Equally important, she is friendly, caring, and encouraging, and always willing to modify exercises to support individual needs.
